Commonly known as TD and operating as TD Bank Group, the Toronto-Dominion Bank is a Canadian multinational banking and financial services corporation headquartered in Toronto, Ontario. It serves more than 11 million Canadian customers, and over 26 million clients worldwide. It is one of the Big Five banks in Canada, and a top-10 bank in North America.
What I did
Staffed on the TD Digital Customer Experience team with product owners, program managers, designers, and developers as well as business analysts, I worked on the very customer-front product, TD EasyWeb - their online banking system, providing better experiences to millions of customers to manage their accounts, order cheques, transfer money, and so forth.

My day to day
- Worked with business and product owners to get requirements on what to improve for the online banking experience; consulted the business and advocate better customer experience
- Built low-fidelity wireframes to polished screen mockups; worked with in-house designers with product visions, blueprints for feature alignment; delivered designs in hybrid design systems consist of TD Evergreen and Treetop
- Consolidated strategy into design workflows and produced detailed documentations for approvals; pitched and presented design solutions to 30+ stakeholders from all involved lines of businesses at the bank
So far, I helped design…
- New account summary and manage page for checking, savings, and credit card accounts.
- Change account types. Advise customers to upgrade/downgrade their accounts without losing their most used features.
- Order cheques. (also work with external vendor to support return to EW)
- Global transfers. Guide customers to provide detailed transaction information in certain countries to avoid delays or rejections.
